My longtime friend and mentor, I am heartbroken. We grew together and worked together at Jaeckle. It was rocky at times starting out, but we grew to love and have great respect for one another. Every occasion that was important to me you were there. We helped one another through so many life issues. I watched as you raised Jackson to the awesome young man that he is. You will be sorely missed my friend. I am so glad that Dee Dee and I got to speak with you last month. You have successfully crossed Jordan River and you never looked back! My Sister by another mother, thank you for your patience, your instruction, assistance and your enduring perseverance. Rest in power, love and peace. Cynthia S. Workman Cheektowaga, NY

I am heart-broken. Bev was a wonderful person, always willing to help out. She was passionate about helping her clients and standing up for what is right. She was one of the most intelligent people I have ever known and had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful mother and always spoke with great pride about her son. My prayers go out to her family and friends. I will miss you my friend.

We were so blessed to have Bev work with us these past six years. Bev was an enormous influence on our team, a larger-than-life figure, one who always was there to help anyone whether it be with a professional question or personal problem. There is no replacing Bev, she was truly unique and special. I cannot express how heartbroken we are to lose her; she will be deeply, deeply missed.

Bev was a very dear friend and I am heartbroken. She was a force of nature. She was passionate about her work and the people she served. Those she loved, she held dear. Once you were Bev’s friend, you were her friend for life. She was dedicated, loyal and fiercely protective. She often told me about the best day of her life, the day that she had Jackson. She was so proud of the young man he has become. I was so blessed to have known Bev for these past 10 years. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am shocked and heart broken as I just learned this news. I just left a message for Bev to wish her a Happy Birthday (last week) and concerned I wasn’t hearing back from her. We became friends through golf and will miss her dearly. She loved her Jackson, her work, traveling and living life to its fullest. We laughed often together. She was humble and never dwelled on the challenges she faced. I am grateful for the time Bev spent with me. May you be a peace for eternity. Love and sympathy to your Family.

It was an honor and a delight to work with Beverley these past several years. We sat on a few ethics committees together, writing rules and advisory opinions and drafting guidance for the legal profession. She was so smart, so incisive and so very kind and funny. And incredibly brave and philosophical. Sincere condolences to her family, her son Jackson (about whom she spoke so much), her friends and professional colleagues. She is greatly missed.

Really sad to hear of this news and apology for the late notice. I knew Bev through work at HSBC when she came to London for a while and not only was she a funny and intelligent woman but she was a real joy to be around. I’m really glad I knew her and I am truly sorry to you all for your loss.
