I didn’t know Pauline very well but I did have a few chances to spend a little time with her. One opportunity seemed to be most memorable. Jim had brought me with him to check up on her as she recently was alone in a fairly new apartment that she wasn’t quite use to. It was my real first chance to meet her and chat a bit. Another time she played the piano for me. She was so kind, and hospitable that to you could never forget it, people like this are far and few in between. Jim, Kerry and the family I am so sorry for your loss and may Pauline rest in peace and God bless all of you.

My First Christmas In Heaven ——————— I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below With tiny lights, like Heaven’s stars, reflecting on the snow The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear But the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart But I am not so far away, we really aren’t apart. So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear. And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above. I sent you each a memory of my undying love. After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold It was always most important in the stories Jesus told. Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do For I can’t count the blessing or love he has for each of you So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

Very saddened to hear the news about my Aunt Pauline. The only thing that comforts me is knowing she is in heaven having a laugh with her sisters. It reminds me of the last time I saw Uncle Bernie and we talked about the old days. I remember him telling me that the thing that stood out to him about the Foley family was that he had never seen such a close family in his entire life. And, I knew that each of the sisters carried that into their own families. As a boy when I would visit, your Mom (like Rose and Irene) she always made me feel that I was home away from home. Miss you guys. Prayers for the family with love and condolences to all.

Sorry for the loss of Aunt Pauline. We know she is in a better place and celebrated Christmas with some of her family. My memories of Aunt Pauline were that she always had a smile on her face and made you feel so special whenever you walked into a room with her. We had so many great times together…..New York, Florida, and Newfoundland. We will keep her alive in our hearts through these great memories. Our condolences go out to all the family. Brian and Bernice McKay and family.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Pauline passing. What a wonderful Lady. I remember with great fondness my visits to Queens in the summers and all the kindness and laughter from my fabulous Aunt Pauline. She lit up our home when visiting us in St.johb’s, Moncton, Ottawa and Calgary. Aunt Pauline is in heaven with Uncle Roy, Johnny, Cathy and her Sisters (including my mom Rose) and brothers and Parents. God Bless Her.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom…..Marilyn, Janet and Jimmy. I have fond memories of her back in Glen Oaks. I admired how hardworking she was especially with raising 5 children, in addition to working at Mays department store and still, always looking glamorous.
