Thomas E. Nasman Irondequoit: Peacefully on October 5, 2018 at age 75. Predeceased by his parents, Harry (Dora Mae) Nasman; wife, Shirley Nasman. Survived by his wife, Sylvia Nasman; daughter, Karin (Noel) McClain; son, Kevin Nasman; sisters, Linda (Kelly) Ferrie & Gretchen Nasman; nieces, nephews, cousins & the village; many dear friends. Thomas was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served our country during the Vietnam War. He is a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and an elder of Hope Lutheran Church. He enjoyed singing and playing the Horn in church, drum core, local bands and at Eastman. He was a car enthusiast, a member of the Acorn Club and Corvair Club. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Thomas’ celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 20th 1:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane. Private interment, Scandia, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Penn Frontotemporal Degeneration Center 3 West Gates 2400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 in his memory. To Tom’s family and friends, I express my condolences. I haven’t seen Tom for some time now but do remember our playing together at the New Horizons bands and also a couple of times at Hope Lutheran church when a saxophone player was needed.He was a great trumpet player himself .

I’m very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. We were close friends in our youth. I was a member of the Warren Boys Choir also and we were friends in High School. I graduated in 59, but I had many close friends in the 60 class. I think I saw him at their 50th reunion. He was a special person. We both loved to sing, and I too enjoyed owning a classic Corvair. To Tom’s family and friends: I am so sorry for your loss. Tom and I grew up together and were classmates in Warren schools. I always found him to be a warm, friendly, kind person. Though I haven’t been in touch with Tom since high school when I received word today of his passing, I was/am quite sad.
