John J. Tripi

John J. Tripi Howell, MI: Thursday, March 8, 2018 at age 70. He was a man devoted to his family, friends and community. A person of integrity, compassion, tenderness and humor. He will be missed by the many people his life has touched. Born and raised in Rochester, New York where he attended Aquinas Institute. After graduation he attended John Carrol University in Cleveland, Ohio and then University of Detroit where he received a Bachelors of Engineering and the Master of Engineering. He later received his Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. John worked for Ford Motor Company for 31 years and retired to enjoy time with his family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Phyllis Tripi; sister, Sylvia Tripi Bulterman. John leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter, Gina Tripi; dear friend and companion, Mary Lemons; former wife, Elaine (Azzolino) Tripi; his siblings, Florence Tripi, Salvatore (Carol) Tripi; brother-in-law, David Bulerman, Sr.; grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Coopersmith; many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. No prior calling. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday (April 7th) 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation, 900 Cooper Street, Jackon, MI 49202, who provided loving care to him in his final days or The Livingston Arts Council, 123 W.
