Steehler, Elsie E. Greece:  Thursday, May 11, 2017.  Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert J. Steehler; son, John E. Steehler; brother, Joseph Pfrengle; sister, Joan Pfrengle; great-granddaughter, Lacey Eichas.  Survived by her brother, William Pfrengle; sons, Robert C. (Jan) Steehler & Joseph (Dawn) Steehler; daughter, Lori (David) Talbot; grandchildren, Robert J. (Betsy), Michael J., Eric J., Julie L. (Jeff) Norman, Joseph W. Jr. (Pam Deisinger), Jackilyn E. (Shawn) Eichas, Kaitlyn E. (Chuck Zimmerman) Talbot, Lori A. Faul, Jonathon (Jennifer) Talbot; great grandchildren, Kinley & Kamryn Norman, Emily & Brittany Faul; nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. She always had an open door and a hot cup of coffee for family and friends and never turned down a good game of cards. Nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her family. Friends may call Monday (May 15th) 4:00-7:30 PM at Vay – Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday (May 16th) 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church.  Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Golisano’s Children Hospital in her memory.  For more information or to sign Elsie’s online guestbook, please visit Meesonfamily.com.

    Aunt Elsie was so special. She always had a smile and sparkling eyes. The Steehler home was always a welcome place that we enjoyed visiting whenever our family was in town. Lots of great memories. My condolences to all my ‘cousins’Rhonda (Furia) Clement.
