Shannon, Ellie D. Greece: Peacefully, Sunday, January 15, 2017. Predeceased by her sister, Marian Wallace; brother-in-law, Robert Wallace; brother, Edward Dangler; sisters-in-law, Diane Dangler, Ruth Dangler. Survived by her brother, Clarence Dangler; son, Kevin Shannon; daughter, Maureen Shannon (David Rittenhouse); grandchildren, Kelly and Matthew Shannon; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ellie was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. She was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Parish. Ellie enjoyed playing cards, crafts, baking and playing golf. The family wishes to thank Ellie’s caregivers over the years, most notably at the Episcopal Church Home. Friends may call Thursday (Jan 19th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 38 East Avenue, HILTON. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday (Jan 20th) 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Sisters Care, 150 French Road, Rochester, NY 14618 in her memory.
