Van Atta, Ellen J. Spencerport: October 21, 2016 at age 80. Predeceased by her sisters, Georgina Bailey & Katherine McDonald. Survived by the love of her life for over 60 years Ronnie C. Van Atta; loving children, Donald Van Atta, Dandra (Louie) Flores, Rhonda (Jack) Drago & Donna Angora; grandchildren, Thomas Thygesen Jr., Krystle Van Atta, Nichole (Shane) Corke, Lauren Drago, Thomas Angora & Gina Angora; great-granddaughter, Cloe Corke; sister, Hilda Schinsing; nieces, nephews, cousins; lifelong friend, Ann Wegman; dear friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Rochester General in CTICU especially Michelle, NP for all the love and care given to Ellen. Ellen lived her life for her family and was a ‘Domestic Godess’. She enjoyed spending time on the river for 30 years and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Ellen’s visitation will be held Monday, October 24th 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday October 25th 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
