Lucy L. Sneddon

Lucy Sneddon, 88, of Rochester, NY, formerly of DuBois, PA passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Dean Sneddon. She was born on May 20, 1927, in Morgan Run, PA to the late Creighton I & Emma R Smeal. She was a member of Mt Zion Methodist Church in DuBois, PA; and attended the Hilton United Methodist Church in Hilton, NY. Anyone that every met Lucy knew her to be a warm and kindhearted friend. Her love of angels lead so many in her life to bless her with gifts of angels from all over the world. This brought her much joy in her lifetime and now, in her passing, she will be surrounded with angels and has earned her wings. She is survived by a son, Dennis E. Sneddon and wife Diann K of Hilton, NY and a daughter, Diana Lynn (Sneddon) Lytal and husband Tony of Ewa Beach, HI; 6 grandchildren, Darren Sneddon & wife Joanna of Hilton, NY; Danene Sneddon Smith of Hilton, NY, Jennifer Kriner & husband Adam of Brockway, PA; Whitney Tarbox of Sacramento, CA; Michael Tarbox of Sacramento, CA and Isabella Lytal of Ewa Beach, HI and 6 great grandchildren: Triston Kriner, Samantha Sneddon, Benjamin Sneddon, Brayden Smith, Tanner Smith and Levi Tarbox. She is also survived by siblings Wanda George of Dunkirk, MD, Joyce Lombardo of Colonial Beach, VA and Ronald Smeal of Buffalo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Creighton and Emma Smeal, Husband, Earl Dean Sneddon, and siblings: Don Smeal, Maurice Smeal, Elsie Price, Russell Smeal, Leon Smeal, Kenneth Smeal, Elwood Smeal, Robert Dean Smeal, and Gerald Smeal. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fleming Point Retirement Community, 720 Latta Road, Rochester NY on January 31, 2016 at 3 :00 PM.
