My heart goes out to your family.
It’s so hard to accept the loss of someone so amazing at such a young age. You were the absolute best friend I could ever ask for. I had so much fun with you doing anything, whether we were at work screwing around or sitting on your couch talking about anything and everything for hours. You had a smile that could instantly brighten someone’s day and a laugh that was contagious. You’re looking over all of us now and I know you’re in a better place. I know you impacted so many lives and you will be in our thoughts every day. I love you sweetheart, rest in peace.

There are no words to express our sadness. Jon, you were too funny when we had the few conversations over the winter with your take on dating and stupid drywall contractors. What a genuinely great guy who accomplished so much in such a short time. We will miss you and Maggie so much.

    Dear Ann and family,
My sincere sympathy to you at this difficult time. Jon’s passing has shocked our community and the fire service in Greece. On behalf of the North Greece Fire Department, I extent the condolences of our men and women who have grown to love him. Jon’s dedication and love of what we do was so very obvious to all.
His cool and calm manner was an inspiration at emergency scenes. I can picture him hurrying into the English Road Fire Station in his Dodge truck and joining the crew on the engine. And so the book closes on Jon Terry’s brief life here on earth. There is some comfort knowing that his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those that knew him at the Long Pond Family Restaurant and in the fire department. Rest easy good friend.

I knew Jon as I was one of his healthcare providers. He was always so sweet and friendly. I am so sorry for his Mom. He mentioned her the last time I saw him. We had hoped he was on the road to recovery and were so shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. Prayers for his loved ones.

Jon will be truly missed as a friend and a family member of the North Greece Fire Department. I had the pleasure of knowing him for 7 years because of the fire service. I enjoyed played softball with him, and seeing his kind smile every time he was working at the restaurant. He will always be remembered as part of our family.

My sympathies to the entire Terry family. Jon was a great guy. I’ve known him since he joined the Fire Department. He also played slow pitch with me on our ball team. Was always nice to see his smiling face behind the grill when we went to the restaurant. A shocking and sad loss for our North Greece family. Rest easy friend.

Jon was the Firefighter that always had a smile on his face because he was always in a good mood. Always part of the Team, I played softball with him and always had a great time with him. He will be missed by many. RIP
