Greece: Thursday, March 19, 2015 at age 87. Predeceased by his wife, Lee Bock and son, Mi¬chael Bock. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Camilla Bock; 2 granddaughters, Alexandra and Kristi¬na; his sister, Doreen Gross; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Gannett Newspapers and a Veteran of the Korean War. Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service, Saturday March 28, 2015 at 10 o’clock in the Cha¬pel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make con-tributions to Asbury First United Methodist Church, 1050 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14607 or to the American Red Cross, 50 Prince St., Rochester, NY 14607 in his memory. I remember Jerry from Gannett. He was a very kind and helpful guy.

Jerry was a fellow member of the Asbury First United Methodist church Sanctuary Choir bass section for the last, well I don’t really remember, but lots, of years. We enjoyed a lot of choral music together. My condolences to all of you. We’ll miss him a lot at Asbury.
