N. Chili: Sunday, February 15, 2015 at age 75. Predeceased by his wife, Irene; son, James Michael; sister, Eileen; Parents, John P. (Margaret). Survived by his wife, Nancy A.; sons, John M. (Nancy) Jr., Scott E. (Patricia) McDermott; grandchildren, Michael J. (Elizabeth), Margaret K. and Tyler S. McDermott; great-grandchildren, Claire M. and Ella G. McDermott; many brother and sister-in-laws; cousin, June Klemm; dear friends. John is a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He graduated from Aquinas Institute in 1956 and was employed with E.I. DuPont for 30 years. He will be deeply missed. John’s visitation will be held Wednesday, February 18th 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday, February 19th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.     To John’s Family,
    I’m sorry I could not offer condolences in person. I worked with John at DuPont and, in fact, his mother too. Margret was a wonderful woman so it’s natural her son was a very good man.
    We kept ‘in touch’ via breakfasts at Denny;s the 2nd Tuesday of every month. He will be missed.
