Greece: Suddenly Saturday, September 20, 2014 at age 65. Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Kathryn Chmiel. Survived by her daughter, Laura (Aaron) Loos; her grandchildren, Brianna, Brennan, Matthew and Madelyn; her siblings, Leonard Chmiel, Linda (Peter) Mantrow, Pamela (Greg) Ambrose, David Chmiel; several loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call Thursday (Sept 25th) 4-7 PM Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Private Interment. To the family of Ms Karen Anderson (Chmiel), I would like to extend my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear loved ones. I remember Karen from high school (BFHS), what a pleasant person to talk with. Although words cannot fill the emptiness of your loss, please, take comfort in knowing that soon, God has promised to remove all causes of suffering, pain, sorrow, and even death forever! (Isaiah 25:8). The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 5:28,29. May I assure you, I am not trying to give or change your religion. The pain of loss is felt, regardless of religion. May all of you be strengthened and comforted by these promises as you cope with the difficult days ahead.
