I am so sorry to hear of Joanie’s passing, this has been such hard times for your families. Sometimes life does not seem fair. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I just can not help but think they are all up there together watching over everyone down here. She was such a sweet, caring person and will be missed.

Lenny and John, the end has come too soon. None of us were ready. Love you both. Your mom was one of a kind. I will miss her till the end of my days. Know you are in my prayers and I will always be there for you.

I was so sorry to read about the passing of Joanie. I knew Joanie as a young girl (when I dated her brother Eddie in high school). She was always a sweet girl, so much fun and I’m sure she was an outstanding woman. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. May she rest in peace. Sharon Russell Beeke

I worked with Joan as her supervisor the last few years before she retired. I found her to be straightforward, down-to-earth, and someone with a great sense of humor. One thing we had in common was that we were both Bruce Springsteen fans, and I always enjoyed our talks about his concerts and music in general. Joan had an impressive wealth of knowledge about all kinds of music. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Joan. My deepest condolences to Joan’s family.
