LeRoy E. Johnson

Greece: Monday, September 30, 2013 at age 95. Predeceased by his parents, Norman & Violet Mae Johnson; his wives, Florence ‘Curly’ & Ingeborg; brother, David Johnson. Survived by his son, LeRoy Edward (Maurine) Johnson Jr., his daughter, Nancy (Robert) Nelson; sister, Norma (Robert) Shannon; grandchildren, Robert Nelson Jr., Kristin (Derek) Poundstone & Jillian Nelson; several loving relatives and dear friends. Lee was an infantry combat Veteran in WWII. Lee was also a Trucking company executive with Byrnes Truck Lines for 40 years. He loved golf, playing cards and was a voracious reader. One of Lee’s favorite pastime was searching on google and wikipedia. No prior calling. His Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday (October 3rd) 1:00 PM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Private Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
