    For Scott,

Although I never knew your Mother, I know you did speak of her when we got together during a couple of your trips to the Rochester area recently. You were busy helping her to get settled into her new apartment just last Fall. I know you were worried about the decline that you saw. It is always hard to say goodbye to our parents but you are lucky you had her for so many years. I lost my Mother in 1990. Our Mother’s watched us grow, protected us, taught us and prepared us to seek our own paths and create our own families and lives. My Mother’s quiet wisdom comes to me now and again in things I might do or say or think and I am sure the same will be true for you. We never really lose those we love for they stay in our hearts forever. I hope you will find comfort in whatever way is good for you as you get used to yet another change in your life. Be well. Take care of yourself. Janet Collamer Hilton Class of ’66
