Rochester: Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at age 73. Predeceased by his parents, Delano and Alice Wetherell. Survived by his sister, Dolores Strobel; nieces, Donna Motzer, Laura Strobel; nephews, Robert Brown, Stephen (Barbara) Strobel, Sheldon Strobel; several great-nieces and great-nephews; dear friends and loving relatives. Donald was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a retiree of Eastman Kodak and a member of the American Legion Post #468. Friends may call Friday (Jan 11th) 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
My condolences to the family of Don…..I met him in 1979 when I started in The Motion Picture Lab in B-6 of Kodak Park. He was a friendly, humorous and a gentle soul.
