I’ve thought of Mr. Steve Fenicchia so often that I finally thought I would Google his name and I am so sorry to hear of his passing! I did want so much to see him at least one more time. He was a fine man and I will always remember everything he taught me about nature, planting, harvesting and being one with the world. He was way ahead of his time. In retrospect I am perhaps most impressed by the patience, love and compassion of this man. As a smart mouth kid I was not always respectful, but he brushed that aside and always took the time to educate me and to answer my many questions. Eventually I came to know him for the genius he was, and to love and respect him. He truly is sorely missed and I truly do think of him every day, especially when I am on my farm. My condolences to Angela, Larry [my childhood friends] and the rest of the family.
