My guess is he’s upstairs havein a nice chat with my parents right now.Mrs. Logan, Maureen and Chris, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and father.

I was a neighbor of the Logans for 10 years, my parents were neighbors for over 25.

I remember ‘Mr. Logan’ as a very kind and soft spoken gentleman.

His ‘Hi Jeff’, over the back fence, puncuated with the most genuine and warm smile.

He always seemed truly happy to see you and although he didn’t say much, when he did it was with a keen interest in what you were telling him.
Rochester is a colder place without his presence.
My guess is that he’s upstairs, sitting down with a cup of tea having a nice chat with my Mom and Dad. 🙂

Maureen, knowing you, I can only guess your Dad must have been a warm, creative man with a wonderful sense of humor and irony. Regardless of recent years, I hope you have fine memories of him that will be more and more of a comfort in the coming months. Wishing you peace and comfort, with love, Robin

Steve, Julia, and I were saddened to hear about the loss of your dad. Of course we never knew him, but good people like you don’t just randomly occur. Children share and learn qualities from their parents.

    Our thoughts are with you!

    Love,
    Steve, Barbara, and Julia

Chris, you do have a lot of family here… my mom was your dad’s sister. A lot of first cousins and first cousins once-removed. Reach out if you’d like to have coffee or donuts or just talk. Ruth Logan Herne/Ruth Blodgett My email is loganherne@gmail.com. Your mom has sent me old pics and shared some thoughts with me. I don’t remember ever meeting you… and that’s kind of sad, isn’t it?
