Greece: Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at age 75. Survived by her sister, Christine (Edward) Lenhard; nephew, Steven (Sharleen) Lenhard; nieces, Eileen (Richard) Dwyer, Barbara (Michael) Cocilova; great-nieces and great-nephews; many loving relatives and friends. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday (Oct 5th) 7:00 PM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Private Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
FRIEDA, YOU WERE THE EPITOME OF PROFESSIONALISM. AT ST. MARY’S HOSPITAL YOU AND NUCLEAR MEDICINE WERE ONE AND THE SAME. SO OFTEN YOU WERE WALKING WITH TRAY IN HAND, OFF SOMEWHERE IN THE HOSPITAL, INJECTING PATIENTS BEFORE THEIR UPTAKE. YOU WERE NURSE, TECH, TRANSPORTER AND PRACTICALLY THE NUC MED DEPT. I WOULD OFTEN STOP IN TO SEE YOU. YOU ARE IN A WONDERFUL PLACE NOW.
Frieda, Elizabeth Boyle, Valerie Angelini and I were best friends for our 4 years at Nazareth Academy. Frieda was the quietest of our group but probably the wisest! I’m sorry that we lost touch but Frieda is a big part of many of my good memories. Sincere Condolences to Christine and the rest of the Family.
My name is Shelly Stewart Stauring and my mother was Margart Mary Mathis Stewart. My Mom & Frieda were best friends growing up and Frieda was my godmother. I remember meeting her when I was a much younger girl and she sent me birthday & christmas cards for many years. But then life must have gotten in the way and we never heard from her again. 🙁 I would’ve loved reconnecting and getting to know her as an adult and I know Mom tried to reconnect with her before Mom died 4 years ago, but to no avail. I guess it wasn’t meant to be, but, please know that I am sorry for your loss. God bless, and I know Mom & Frieda are getting to know each other again in their heavenly home. :))
