Rochester: April 24, 2012 at age 49. Predeceased by her parents, Clyde & Jean (Woodward) McIntosh; brother, Larry ‘John’ McIntosh; sister-in-law, Beulah (Erskine) Lattimore. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, John Sider; siblings, Mindon (JoAnn) McIntosh, Laura (Grace) Neal, Marvin (Jackie) McIntosh, Wendy (Van) Ingersol & Korlene Cook; special niece, Jelyn; many friends. Dorlene is a Veteran of the United States Army, was a long-time member of the American Legion Post #474, coordinator for Monroe County Board of Elections, member of the Monroe County Democratic Committee and passionate about volunteering in schools. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life, Saturday, April 28th, 10 A.M. ‘€œ 2 P.M. at American Legion Post #474, 90 St. John’s Park, Rochester NY 14612. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Veterans Outreach Center or American Legion Post #474 in her memory.

    as one of your many friends hun, know that I will always love you more than my luggage! and all the fun time we had on those 28+ years It was the least I could do the 6+ month to be there by your side and take care and assist you and all things that I could! don’t forget to save me that spot on the porch up there so we can look at all the cute young boys! of course Jean and ol’ Grandma can join us as well 😛 you will never be out of my thoughts hun! and don’t worry we will look after Johnnie! hugz

    My Dorlene, I love you and will miss you dearly. You and I had our ups and downs but when either one of us was in need, we were there of each other. We would talk for hours sometimes and some of it would be silly things. But it meant something to us. I will miss those phone calls from you. John will be taken care of as he all of us and his family and alot of friends. He so loved you. I will miss you so much, my heart is broken. I know your pain is gone and your with family, I will be seeing you one day so save me a seat next to you and Ashley on that bench, ;)~ .     you and your unconditional love for your frnieds like Chandi are amazing.I am really amazed at how wonderful you are she is when you are together.It is a pity that you cannot come to ChristChurch and spread your inspiration around here as our non-human frnieds have been completely unsettled by our continuing earthquakes.If I make it to England one day to see you and Chandi perform I will be happy to meet you and shake your hand.Watching your videos are so inspiring and bring happiness to our bleak days

    Darling its almost been a year it’s come with many changes some good some bad but what will never change is my love for you. You are sorely missed.
