James W. Pickens

Greece: Passed away peacefully Sunday, March 18, 2012. Predeceased by his daughter, Linda Hutteman. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois; two sons, Tom (Donna), Don (Gail); grandchildren, Dale, Jennifer and Stacia; great-grandchildren, Jordie and Akelia. Jim enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942 and became a Flight Engineer in the 319th Troop Carrier Command, Flying the hump in the China Burma India Theatre of War. After returning home, Jim worked many years for the Rochester Telephone Corp. Friends may call Wednesday (March 21st) 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Private Interment, Holy Sepulche Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice in his memory.
