Rhoads, Charles F., Sr. Greece: July 23, 2011 at age 83. Charles is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 60 years, Frances (Harris) Rhoads; children, Theresa A. Rhoads & Charles F. (Jody) Rhoads, Jr.; grandson, Dr. Charles F. (Brianne) Rhoads, III; brothers, Bernard (Irene) Rhoads & James (Claire) Rhoads; sisters, Mildred (Harold) Mathis & Theresa Gilmore; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Charles worked at Empire Fence Co. for over 60 years and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call Monday, July 25th, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 26th, 10:30 A.M. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 15 St. Martin’s Way, Rochester NY 14616. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Avenue, Rochester NY 14621 in his memory.

Dear Rhoads Family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the lost of your husband, father, and grandfather. My dad always spoke so highly of Charlie as a coworker and friend at Empire Fence (Buffalo Road). I can remember as a child going to work with my dad and Charlie taking me out to the shop and letting me help.
