I am deepley sorry for your loss. Brooke was a special woman. She went through life with optimisim, grace and love, her smile never wavering.I can still hear her laugh, while she would be handing me her little ‘encouragement’ sticky notes. She was not only my patient , she was my friend.I will miss her very much. May we all find comfort in our memories and faith.F Allam MD

I am so thankful to have had Brooke in my life, even if it was for a short time. She had such a wonderful heart, and she was such a pleasure to spend time with. I have so many wonderful memories that will live on in my heart forever. I miss you already Brooke and I will never forget you. I know you will be watching over me from Heaven. Thanks for all the memories 🙂

I was stationed with Brooke in the late 70’s at the Navy Base in Puerto Rico. She was my roommate when we lived in a high rise in Luquillo Beach & we enjoyed many good times together laughing & clowning around. She could always put a smile on my face even when I was having a bad day. I missed her when she moved to Bethesda for medical treatment. I kept in touch for awhile but wished that we could have stayed in touch throughout the years. I would like to apologize to her for the way our friend ended. It was my fault but I never got the chance to tell her. God bless you & rest in peace my ‘little buddy’. Cathy Decker

My sincere and deepest sympathy to the entire Newmann family. Brooke was very dear to me and my son and will never forget the joy she brought to each of us by her own unique personality. We loved her dearly and will miss her as much. I truly believe she is in a much better place and is now at peace. Fly high with the angels, Brooke.
