Hilton: Sunday, June 5, 2011. Predeceased by her mother, Beatrice; brother, Collin Lovell. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Stanley Gibbs; her sons, Steve Gibbs, Ryan (Kimberly) Gibbs; sister-in-law, Margaret Lovell and dear friends. Maureen was a devoted wife, mother and friend. ‘Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; But by the moments that take our breath away.’ Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 38 East Ave, Hilton Chapel. Her prayer service will follow calling Wednesday at 8:00 PM in the funeral home. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice in her memory.
Gibbs family, Sorry to hear the sad news about Maureen. I have known her for many years through the marina where I kept my boat. She was always a friendly and warm person, God bless!
