His smiling face will be missed. Although I was not an actual family member- I was comfortable calling him Uncle Joe. He made me feel welcome from the first day we met. I am proud and honored to have known him and will carry pieces of his life with me always. I remember him at family celebrations – quietly sitting- watching – happy to be a part of all the activity. Thinking that nobody noticed the bowl of sweets he had discreetly by his side. That bowl was never empty. Uncle Joe was loved and cared for – may God bless and care for him.
