So many memories’¦’¦.hanging with you in the basement amidst the sawdust watching you create beautiful pieces of art from mere scraps of wood, the endless rides to the mall and the skating rink, your beautiful handwriting that school thought I was forging on my excuses (like I could even come close), the aroma of ‘Your Favorite’ in your pipe, donuts at Buckman’s and you flirting with the waitresses, garbage plates at Nick Tahou’s, the red Ford truck with the five cab lights on top, trips to Henderson in the station wagon while we all fought over who would sit by the window, the cross-country trek during my relocation, the months on end you would spend with me and Nik in Texas’¦’¦ I never wanted more than to have you near me. I will cherish these memories of you, Dad’¦..and many more. I love you.
