Greece: Thursday, February 11, 2010 at age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Tripi; daughter, Sylvia Bulterman; brothers, John & Joseph Bonavilla; sisters, Antoinette Palermo, Mary Barra, Elsie Chiaramonte. She is survived by her loving children, Florence Tripi, Salvatore (Carol) Tripi, John Tripi; son-in-law, David Bulterman Sr.; sister-in-law, Olga Bonavilla; grandchildren, David Bulterman Jr. (Cristy), Joseph A. (Renee) Tripi, Esq., TerriAnn Tripi (Larry Logan), Dara (Kevin) Oliver, Nicole (Christopher) Henry, Gina Marie (David) Coopersmith, Shannon (Stuart) Petch, Kristina Strauss; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Ann Bulterman, Lelynn Bulterman, Alex Strauss, Joseph & Nicholas Henry, Kavanagh & Delaney Oliver, Nicholas & Olivia Coopersmith, Jolynn & Hudson Tripi; great-great-grandson, Aiden Woodworth; many nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends; her CSEA family. The family wishes to thank Sandy Drexel for the loving care given to Phyllis and the professional staff of the Cardio Care Unit at Unity Hospital. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 15 Saint Martin’s Way. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Journey Home or Camp Good Days in her memory.

Dear Flo, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful woman and I so enjoyed seeing her at CSEA events. One of my fondest memories were of her enjoying the entertainment at the Beaver Hollow Women’s Conference several years ago. She had such a great time singing along. She will be greatly missed by all. My love and prayers to you and your family.
Dear Flo, Our sincerest condolences go out to you and your family. We always admired your never ending devotion to your Mom at Holy Name. We are currently in Seattle where we welcomed our grandson into the world yesterday. Maybe he and your Mom just traded places. The circle of life continues but leaves you with an emptiness for sure. Flo, I just happend to see a Rochester newspaper and read about your mother’s passing. You were blessed to have had her in your life for such a long time but no matter how old we get, we are never old enough to lose our mothers. My condolences to you and your family.

My godmother phyllis will always have a special place in my heart. She was always very good to me. We had some good times playing cards together and with my mom, her sisters, and aunt Jo. I always looked forward to my birthday lunches when she would come to florida. She was always a great person to talk to,i did that alot because i had a heavy load on my shoulders. She would always listen, and had good advice for me. She will be missed very much. love always yuor godchild phyllis
