Errol, Phyllis, Yvonne and Jim, please accept my sincere sympathy at the loss of your Mother. When I saw her name in the paper today I was reminded of the many years of friendship she and my Mom shared while working at Sears together so many years ago. Beanie Lana passed in September of last year.
I will always remember ‘MeMa’ with fondness. My grandparents lived several states away, so ‘MeMa’ Valyear was our ‘NY grandma’ that lived just a couple doors down from us on Hilltop Drive in Penfield. I remember spending several afternoon with her. She would always let us play Tiddlywinks in her living room. She also gave each of my brothers & sister & I Raggedy Ann or Andy dolls that she had made. My son, Anthony (who’s 3 years old), still carries around a denim tote bag that she had made for me. I will always remember her kindness. I was so very sorry to hear of her passing. Very Sincerely, Sonya (Wood) Verrillo
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I knew Agnes when the people from Monroe joined Covenant church. She was a delightful lady and I enjoyed so much knowing her. She was so very talented in so many ways. I remember how faithfully she cared for her husband never complaining. Prayers for peace and comfort.
