Phaon ‘Elmer’ Corson

Greece: January 3, 2009 at age 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doris (Whitbeck) Corson; children, Cheryl (Greg) Koert & Glenn Corson; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kathryn, Elizabeth & Emily; great-granddaughter, Ava; sister, Carol (Dencil) Gold of Utah; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Elmer is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in World War II. Private visitation. His Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, 11 A.M. at Lake Avenue Baptist Church, 57 Ambrose Street. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
