George was a wonderful person and a great neighbor. We will miss his humor, all the news of the neighborhood and his tomatoes, but most of all his smiling face.

I never met George personally, however I have been blessed by knowing his daughter, Lesley for many years. I am sure he was as much of a delight as she is. My thoughts and prayer are with your family. I have been through the same loss myself. Please take care, I hope to attend the service Friday morning. Love Always- Lorie Wagner (co-worker of Lesley)
I was blessed to know George over the last couple of years. I always enjoyed visiting with George as he had some intersting stories to tell. He always had a smile.
I work with Lesley. Through her I have gotten to know George. I made homemade chocolate chip cookies for Lesley. She gave some to her Dad. He loved them. So whenever I brought cookies to work I would give her some to take to George. Tuesday morning I saw two rainbows in the sky. My thoughts went immediately to your Dad & Mom. They are together again. I know what you are going through as I have been where you are now. Pray to GOD. He will help you through now and forever.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Doug. I hope you find comfort in sweet memories of time with your dad.
Keeping you and your family in my thoughts during this time. -Haley
Lesley… My deepest condolences to you and your family. Your dad was a gentleman and fantastic individual to work with at DuPont. His sports trivia was amazing and he could always make you laugh with his contagious and humorous personality…
My condolences to your family. George and I played golf together during our years at Dupont and after we retired. He talked about how much he enjoyed golfing with his father-in-law at St. Andrew’s in Scotland. He had a very ‘wristy’ golf swing and a wonderful personality.
My heartfelt thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to you and your family, Doug….
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Doug. Praying for friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to help you smile again. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Kelly Musick
