Dear Karen, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. I was his hairdresser back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. He was such a loyal customer. I remember him telling me a story of when his dog use to ring the doorbell wanting to come in or he would leave as soon as someone would come to the door.I can’t exactly remember which story it was. Also when he told me he was getting married to you, he was so happy. I did get to meet you when you came in with Gary. God Bless you and your daughters!
Dear Karen: We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. God Bless Your friends from tops
Dear Thorton family, We are so saddened to hear of Garry’s passing. I remember Garry as a very good friend of mine from our high school days. We had a lot of fun. He was at my home a lot. Although we did lose contact with one another, I did think of him. With Our Deepest Sympathy, Brent, Mary, Larry & Saunie Ziliox
Garry was a very smart, sincere and friendly person whom I had the pleasure of working with for several years at Roll Coating Division at Kodak. He found ways of using his baseball stats and knowledge to illustrate things in terms for business. I also knew and respected his love of God and Family- that was paramount to him. Rest in peace Garry- I am sorry that your time here on earth was cut short. May you find ways to help your family and friends now in new ways from above.. Sincerely, Your friend John K. Larmann

Karen: Garry was a dear friend of mines that I got to meet while I was at Purdue. I will always cherish the times I spent with him visiting him in Cincinnati and Rochester. We traveled to Niagra Falls and Toronto. Garry had a great sense of humour and was so easy to talk to. We talked about many things, sports, religion, politics, family. He was someone I admired very much. I enjoyed our visit so much a couple of years ago meeting your girls. I promise I will visit again to honor Garry. Please let me know if you need anything. In Christ, Chuck

To Karen and Family – Garry was a friend a former colleague whom I first met in the late 1980’s. I always enjoyed his company and sense of humor. He was a good friend, a passionate fellow Cincinnati Reds fan – and no doubt a wonderful husband and father. My thoughts and sympathies are with you.
To Karen and family..So very sorry to hear about Garry. I worked with him in Estar and was struck by his deep faith. He’d light up at the mention of his daughters – they obviously were his pride and joy. Take care and I’ll keep you all in my prayers.
Veronica and I had the opportunity to meet and know Garry during his Purdue years. Garry was very dedicated to his friends and studies. I was a pleasure knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
