Greece: June 4, 2009 at age 85. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Arlean Texter. He is survived by his son, David G. Texter of North Greece; daughter, Lynne A. Texter of Philadelphia; granddaughter, Emily Texter & brother, Joseph (Judy) Texter of Neskowin, Oregon. George served in WW II as a Navy pilot and was a long time employee of the Rochester Telephone Company, retiring in 1983. Family and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service, Tuesday 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Vay Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St Ann’s Home, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester NY 14621.
Dear Lynne and David. So sorry your Dad has passed to a much better place but know he is much happier now in the arms of God and your Mom. Missed not being able to come support and comfort you but hope you understand that you were better off with my not being there. My prayers are with all of you that God brings you comfort and watches over you always.
