Greece: Monday, April 20, 2009 at age 88. Survived by her daughter Patricia (Seth) Irwin; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 P.M. at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held, Thursday 10 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment held privately at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd Fairport, NY 14450 in her memory.
Patty & Seth, I know I’ll see you later today but if I don’t get a chance to talk with you, know that I am a phone call away if you need anything…I know too well what it is like to lose your Mom…time heals but she will always be with you, in all your wonderful memories, and those memories will pop up when least expected! Mourn your loss, but at the same time, try to enjoy all the great time you had with her!! Please call me ANYtime!! Love you, Karen
