Richard M. Brugger, Sr.

Rochester: March 10, 2009 at age 83, peacefully surrounded by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret (Passamonte) Brugger; children, Richard M. Brugger, Jr., Peggy (Paul) Outhouse, Kathleen Brugger, all of Rochester &Wendy (James) Gurrant of York; son-in-law, William Reichold; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, Cheryl & Debbie Threet of Utah; his two faithful dogs, Sammy & Sofia; many dear friends. Richard is predeceased by his son, Thomas R. Brugger; daughter, Patricia Reichold; sister, Eleanor Threet and brothers, Kenneth & Louie J. Brugger. Richard was a Navy Veteran & a permament member of the John W. Steger Assembly, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Color Core. Friends may call Friday 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment in Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans in his memory.
