How blessed I am to have had Grandpa’s love and witness of faith in my life. Even though we were separated by so many miles, I always felt the comfort of my grandparents’ love and their prayer for us. The way he cherished you, Grandma, has been an example for our marriage. It is hard to not be with you all to say goodbye…but I know Grandpa understands! How I will always remember Grandpa pulling quarters ‘magically’ out of my ears and teasing me. I celebrate the gift of his long life and thank God for giving me such a wonderful grandfather.

Mrs. LaCrosse, Kathy, and family my prayers are with your family. I never directly met Mr. LaCrosse, but everyday at work Kathy spoke to me about him- sharing her lovely memories about the strong caring man she knew as dad, so in a way i did get to know him. I feel your loss but trust in the Lord that everything he does is with a purpose. He is in a better place now where there is no pain or sorrow.

Mrs. LaCrosse, Mike and family, My sincere condolences to all of you in the loss of your husband, dad, and grandfather. I remeber Mr. LaCrosse through my friendship with Mike when were pre-teens and teenagers in Greece. What a nice man he was, always pleasant and positive! Much like Mike was . I have experienced the loss of both my parents at an early age and I know that coping with loss of a loved one near and dear to you is difficult. As my folks did I am certain that Mr. LaCrosse led an exemplary and full life, loving, laughing and enjoying everything and everyone he met. My prayers are with you. Sincerely, Gary Love Cardinal Mooney ’69

To my lovely Aunt Eileen and my dear cousins Kathy, Mike, Joy and Julie: I am sad I was not able to be with you in person. Please accept my prayers and love. Your father was a wonderful Uncle to me and because of him, I was blessed with you all in my life. Although the distance has kept me apart from you, each day you remain very close to me in my heart and mind as does your Dad…my Uncle.
