Ark, and I went to college together at NC A &T State U. We were brothers in the BOSS organization. Ark was the type of guy that was always positive, we spent many nights all of us talking about various things. The one night that stands out in my mind we were arguing about something and it had to do with ‘doing what we said we would do’. He was very big on that. Anyway he made this statement ‘You have to take time to make time’ of course we all just laughed and dismissed his statement but ultimately we understood what he meant. He was trying to get me or one of us to stop missing appointments and giving the excuse that we didn’t have time! Ark was a good guy and I will miss him. Although we were out of touch for about 20 years or so we hooked up with a phone call about a year ago and spent at least an hour on the phone playing catch-up. Since then we exchanged emails daily. It is very hard to accept the fact that my friend, our friend is no longer with us’¦’¦’¦’¦’¦’¦’¦. Rest in peace Ark, we will miss you
As I read the number of messages from people who were inspired and loved Mr. Kane, I can truly say, ‘The Lord is Good.’ I have not seen him since I was a little girl attending all of the NC A&T picnics that my parents used to take my siblings and I to each summer. The fond memories of seeing his smile along with his beautiful wife and child was always a reason to go and feel a part of the Aggie family. When my mother informed me of his passing, my first thought was, ‘he died so young’…and he did. I am comforted, however, in knowing that he lived a life beyond that of his years and his infectious kindness means more to me than ever. I’m live in Los Angeles, and I’m sorry I cannot be with you all today. Please know that the Spirit of Christ transcends the miles as He is Omnipresent, so my thoughts and prayers are carried on the wings of our Lord to comfort you during this sad occasion. I love you Mary and Aaron, and please know I will be with you in this grieving process. Gina
Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.

I cannot begin to express how truly saddened I am and how my heart goes out to Mary and Aaron and the rest of the family. Most of my life, Armond and Mary have been there for the milestones both good and bad. Always showing love, support and most of all laughter. Armond, as I would tell people, was one of my favorite people on this earth. He was uncommonly kind, wonderfully enthusiastic and could bring a smile to your face the moment he entered a room. His smile was truly contagious. He was a wonderful mentor and was always there for any child that needed him with a loving approach and always having a understanding grace about him . There are so many memories, so many funny stories. I am thankful that my Father had Armond to be his friend and stand by his side at some of the most painful parts of his life – their friendship is a testament of what friendship really means. When we moved in across the street from the Kane’s no one could have ever predicted that our new neighbors would become our family. But that is what happened. And now a part of our family has gone home to our Lord. And while I will miss him deeply, I take comfort in knowing that when our time comes that Ark will be waiting for us – arms wide open with a huge smile on his face.
I consider, that you are not right. I am assured.
I never knew anyone quite like your Armond. I had the privilege to travel extensively with him for three years as part of the supplier diversity office at Kodak. MED Week, NMSCD, Working Group, Congressional Black Caucus, Black Business Association, Upstate Minority Purchasing Council, Black Enterprise… Never in my life had I seen a person so well known and well loved. Everywhere we went, your dad had friends. Not just casual acquaintances but people who would light up when they spoke his name. I’ll miss him greatly.
I was saddened to hear of Armond’s passing this week. I grew up with him and graduated high school in Yeadon, PA. May God give comfort to you and your family at this time.
I will miss my friend and co-worker. We spent many days together talking about life in general and certainly about Supplier Diversity (his passion). May God be with his family.
I worked with Armond in purchasing at Kodak for several years. He was always honest and trustworthy and was always having a good time as well. He will be missed.
I’m am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Armond for several years and will always remember his smile and kindness. The one story where he had me laughing until tears ran down my face was when he was stuck in the elevator at Kodak when the electric was shut off. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sue Stjohn

Mrs Kane and family, I just heard about your husband. I am truly sorry for your loss. This world has lost a great man. It was a truly honor to have know him and live on Orchard Creek Circle with him. I will never forget the times at your house. Mr. Kane had a great heart and always left his door opened to us kids who lived on this street. On behalf of myself and the braden family I would like to send my condolences and prayers to you and your family. Tom, Kristin, Kimberly and michael.
Mrs. Kane, Aaron and Family-It was with much saddness that I learned of the passing of your husband and father. He was a friendly and ideal neighbor for nearly 30 years on Orchard Creek Circle. I will always think of him mowing your lawn with those head phones on. He would always stop what he was doing to ask how I was or what was new in my life. I will always remember him for his kindness and the smile that was always present on his face. One couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor then Mr. Kane. On behalf of my parents and siblings, I extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to all of you and hope that happy memories of your loving husband and devoted father console you. With sympathy, Tim, Val and Olha, Eric Sukhenko and Tamara Evans.
Much love and many prayers to the Kane family. May the comforting memories help you through this difficult time.
My condolences to Armond’s family, I worked on and off with Armond for approximately 2 years and he was good mentor and gentleman, he will be missed by all.
Now I would’ ve used ChickHen to flash custom firmware to his psp but he updated to 5.55. So I was wondering if the Half Byte Loader program would be able to run the 5.50 D3 installer at all, since I noticed the program is beta and apparently as many problems left, long enough to flash firmware without bricking his psp.
Remarkable question
So sorry to hear Armand’s passing. Worked with Armand in Purchasing for several years. Also had the pleasure to go to Wash. DC at our last MBE conference in Sept.06. We both retired in Oct. Armand had several national friends and he was so happy telling them he was retiring. He had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. Truly, the good die young. He will be in my prayers.
Thinking of you and your family as we extend deep sympathy for your loss. With each new day may Almighty God supply (Ps.34:18) comfort and strength as you try to cope. Mr. Kane touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed.
Thinking of your family everyday. Aaron I can feel your hurt and sadness. This is something we never except to actually happen to us. The phone call will be one you never forget. Just know TIME will ease the pain. Most importantly be strong for your mom. I found comforting my mom helped me get through the death of my dad.
To Aaron, Jessica, and Mrs. Kane, Please accept my sincerest condolences for the unexpected passing of your father and husband. Mr. Kane’s passing being sudden, please take the time to grieve and reflect on the wonderful memories that you were all able to share. I see so much of Mr. Kane in Aaron. From what I hear he was a wonderful man and you all continue to keep his memory and spirit alive and well.
To Armond’s Family, I had the pleasure of knowing Armond as a Kodak supplier, which Armond always referred to us as a valued partner. We often talked about our families, and so I know how much he loves yours. He was very proud of you. I have a picture of Armond in my office, taken at a golf outing in Phoenix AZ. He also loved golf and I often hear his voice saying ‘now Jim, keep your head down and I’ll watch the ball for you’. I’m a better golfer & person because I knew Armond. I’m sorry that I didn’t get the notice of Armond’s passing, but I wanted you to know how many people that he worked with admired and loved him. My thoughts are with you, Jim (9/2/08) Jim Stefano VP Client Services & Quality Synergy Global Solutions 1100 Pittsford Victor Road Pittsford, NY 14534-3801
To Mary, Aaron and the entire Kane Family ‘ I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Armond was one of the first people I worked with at Kodak. Every time Armond entered the room he would greet you with a big smile. So many good memories are coming to mind while I am writing this, like when we (supplier diversity team) headed to DC for Medweek on our first road trip because that was the only way all of us could go. I am going to miss Armond but I will always cherish the memories I have of him.
To Mrs. Kane, Aaron, and your entire extended family…I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that the passing of time and the wonderful memories you have can help get you through this difficult time. Mr. Kane was the definition of a good neighbor and friend. I feel so lucky to have grown up next door to him. He always had a smile on his face, and was never too busy to say hello and have a little chat. He always had a great story to tell, and he offered great words of wisdom and advice that will stay with me forever. I will miss seeing him when I visit my parents’ house, and I will remember him always.
To the Kane Family, Armond will truly be missed by so many of us whose life he touched in a positive way. He often times lent an ear and gave words of wisdon to his co-workers at Kodak that I still use today. Armond and I both have the Philly connection and often times spoke of our love for this city. He will surely be missed here but will make a tremendous addition to the folks in heaven.
To the Kane Family, I am very saddened by your loss. I first met Armond almost 6 years ago. He was always enthusiastic, encouraging, and a pleasure to work with. He helped me in starting my company and had big hopes and dreams for me. I remember in many of our business conversations how he would talk so proudly about his family. He encouraged and watched over many of us over the years. I will miss him.
To the Kane family. We will keep you in our prayers.Ark was a great friend and BOSS brother. As classmates at NCA&T we were close home boys. I remember the rides home to Philly when I had very little money. We had lots of laughs together in Greensboro and on the road.I learned tp play chess from Ark and Mr Kane. The idea to start the BOSS organization at NCA&T was a idea the grow out of conversations with ARK and others. The social service organization set the tone for all of us and made us what we are today.Even though I had not seen ARK in years whenever we talked it was like yesterday. He will be greatly missed by all.Ark had away of looking at life and staying focused on the cause.Mary I wish you and the family the best as you deal with Arks passing.remember he is not gone but just away.He awaits us all in a better place.Always remeber his smile and the positive role model he was to us all. My the Lord keep you and yours and watch over during these times lost. With our deepest regrets Dempsey and Margaret lane.
To the Kane family; My deepest symphaty for your lost, I had the pleausere of working with Armond at Kodak and he was a great person, my prayers are with all of you Leo
With this note I would like to extend my sympathy to the Kane family. I met Armond in the employee store at Kodak. I was the clerk in building 328 for 2 years. Armond would usually stop by after lunch. He would check out the latest cameras,etc.. We would chat about the latest news story or how Kodak would be different if we were making the decisions. I always looked forward to seeing him. He would often share his knowledge about cameras with myself or other customers in the store. He was a very caring person. I will always remember him.
