Greece: Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at age 88. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mary J. DiProspero; son, Phillip D. DiProspero. He is survived by his sons, Vincent J. (Mary Beth Rathbun) DiProspero, Bart (Debbie Leyland) DiProspero; daughter, Judy Ann (Walter) Motry; brother, Joseph DiProspero; sister, Pearl Schiano; grandchildren, Tina, Marirose, Bart, Shari, Vincent Jr., Gerald, Michaele, Albert, Julianne, Christine, Theresa & Steven; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Christopher, Gianna, Phillip, Vincent, Anthony, Meadow, Mary, Tabatha, Olivia, Nicholas, Samuel, Cassondra, Alexis & William; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends. Bardo is a decorated World War II Veteran and served in the United States Army. Bardo’s family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of the Episcopal Church Home for their outstanding care and support over the past 5 years. Friends may call Friday (Today) 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, 10 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301 in his memory.
