Ft. Wayne, Indiana: Saturday, September 15, 2007 at age 65, at her residence at Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Rochester, New York, she was a member of St. George Episcopal Church, Hilton, New York, and graduated from Charlotte High School. She retired from Monroe County Social Services. She is survived by her brother, Richard (Jeannie) DeMato; niece, Laurie (Mark) Brumbaugh; nephews, Ryan and Kyle DeMato; great-nephew, Paul Brumbaugh of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Ellen DeMato. Friends may call Saturday 9-11 A.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held, Saturday 11 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, September 20, 10 A.M. at Golden Years Homestead, 8300 Maysville Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Contributions may be made to Allen County Council on Aging, 233 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 or Golden Years Homestead in her memory
Dear Beth, I am going to miss you very much. I will miss our telephone chats and especially the many, many laughs we have shared over the last 28 years. Thank you for the gift of your friendship. I am blessed to have met you. May you rest in peace. Dear Dick and family, you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of a true Angel.
