Mary Jane McCortney

Tuesday, July 31, 2007. She is predeceased by her husband, William; son, Timothy and grandson, Matthew. Survived by her children, Sheila(Mark)McCortney-Foery, Bridget(James)Spence and Daniel(Michele)McCortney; grandchildren, Heather(John), Kelly, Megan, Frank, Zoe and Miles; siblings, Carol Ann O’Sullivan, Geraldine Zimmerman, John(Joanne)Zimmerman and Barbara Zolnowski; many nieces and nephews, Mary Jane was an active member of the Holy Cross Rosary Society, a Coast Guard veteran of WWII, and retired from the City of Rochester after 28 years of service. Family and friends may call Sunday 2-5PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral, 2692 DEWEY AVENUE. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 11AM in Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross School.
