I send my condolences on the death of Ruth D’Aprix. I first met her when I began teaching for the College of Business in 1972. She was a strong woman who knew everyone in the College and who served the College well. Carol Whitlock Professor, Food Science and Nutrition

I wanted to apoligize for not being able to pay my respects in person, but I still wanted to say goodbye. Ruth was a great lady and the short time I knew her was special. I wanted to tell you a story about one time we talked after Christmas. I was hanging a calender for her and it was of Monet pictures. We went through the calender and I told her of the real Monet’s I had seen in Buffalo and in Canada at the Museum. This was a special day for me and I hope it was for her too. You will be missed God Bless you. David Fuller

My sympathy and prayers to the family of Ruth, a lovely woman whom I knew from the RIT College of Business. I remember Ruth fondly, and we exchanged Christmas cards for several years after she left employment at RIT. I am still at RIT but in Development. I worked in the Business college for over 20 years, and the earlier years were the ones with Ruth. She would be amazed at the changes at RIT and the College of Business! My best to the family as you grieve. Marty

Unfortunately, Mary and I can not be in Rochester to fully celebrate Ruth’s life. She was an important person in both of our lives and my early years at R.I.T. She was a classy women who everyone adored. I know her legacy is strong is strong with the RIT family.
