GREECE: Friday, February 2, 2007. Predeceased by his first wife, Rosemary; daughter, Janice Mae McKain. He is survived by his wife, Bette Jayne Hogan Hammersla; his son, Warren C. (Arleen) Hammersla; daughter, Marion Rae(Richard)Bradley; brothers, Henry(Wilma)Hammersla, Richard(Nancy)Hammersla and Harold(Nancy)Hammersla; son-in-law, Michael McKain; sisters-in-law, Patricia H. Dominas; brother-in-law, John(Lorraine)Hogan; grandchildren, Christine(Leo)Roth, Cynthia(Laurent)McKain Tremault, Stephen(Noelle)McKain, Jason Hammersla, Darren Hammersla, Richard(Josie Briggs) Bradley, Barbara(Eric)Lavelle; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Corey and Christian Roth, Liam Lavelle & Devon Tremault, special nieces and nephews; many friends; beloved Westie, Misty. Warren is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII, 101st Airborne. He served on D-Day, in Holland, and at the Battle of the Bulge. Warren was the recipient of the Silver Star, Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Conspicuous Service Cross. He was a member of American Legion Post #468, Mother of Sorrows Men’s Club and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. No prior visitation. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing may make contributions to Our Mother of Sorrows Building Fund in his memory.
