Suddenly on Sunday, January 7, 2007. Predeceased by his son, John ‘Jay’ Hammaker. Survived by his daughter, Mary Hammaker; grandson, Samuel ‘Bud’; aunt, Jean Clinton; special friends, Daryl Benham, Mary and Betty Reese and the Martell Family; many other friends. Friends may call Thursday, 4-7PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, 10:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to the Golisano Children’s Hospital in his memory.
