On Sunday, May 24, 2026, Gary R. Neitzel passed peacefully with his wife by his side.
He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ruth Neitzel, and sister, Carol Neitzel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Deborah; son, Jeremy (Michelle); grandchildren, Alexis, Adam and Matthew; sister-in-law, Tracy Hancock; aunts, Caroline and Cathy and many cousins.
He was employed as a roofer, painter at Kodak, was a business owner and eventually worked at UPS.
Gary enjoyed nature and the outdoors; his favorite activity being fishing. He loved animals and passed that love down to his son and grandchildren. He was not only a loving husband, father and grandfather, he was also a Veteran of the Vietnam war. Gary is truly missed and always loved.
Rest in peace Gary, we will forever love you.
His Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday (June 9th) at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road.
Private interment at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any Veteran association or animal shelter in Gary’s name could be considered.
