Mary Ellen Zenkar

Penfield, NY: Suddenly, February 1, 2026 Aged 78. Pre-deceased by her parents, Joseph P. Zenkar and Christine T. Zenkar. Survived by brothers John Zenkar, Joseph G. Zenkar, and Matthew Zenkar, sister-in-law Roxanne Brougham, by her sister, Christine Zenkar (Parker) brother-in-law Gary Parker Sr., and by Nieces, Nephews, and great Nephews. Mary Ellen worked for many years at the Eastman Kodak Camera Club and retired from the Central Library of Rochester, NY.

Friends may call Tuesday (Feb 10th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (Feb 11th) 10:00 AM at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway S. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Library of Rochester NY, or Heathwood Assisted Living, Penfield, NY in memory of Mary Ellen.
