Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute

(March 27, 1997-January 22, 2026)

Tyler, 28 was a bright light and brought joy to whom he encountered whether in life or at work. He was the one that put others before his own needs or wants. Blessed with the ability to make people laugh, Tyler used every ounce of laughter to spread happiness when needed and offered a shoulder as well. Truly just an uplifting “people” person.

Dedicated to his family, Tyler helped when asked, complained some but not many times. He loved family picnics, concert trips, antiquing, kayaking, fishing, video games, camping and exploring. He made many friends along the way, most of them ended up at the Underwoods house enjoying life with close friendships over bonfires. We made annual trips to Kelly’s Apple Farm, Minnehans, Adventure Landing, local Carnivals, Hamlin’s Wheel Fest, Hilton Apple Fest and Car show, etc. He truly lived life.

Proud to be part of Wilkins RV in Churchville, NY, he started in detail and earned his way up to a Certified Level 1 RV Technician and was training for Level 2. Received Certifications in KZ Recreational Vehicles Service School of RV Integrative Training, Forrest River, Inc Basic Level 1 Service School and Forest River, Inc Advanced Level 2 Service School both gaining knowledge in electrical systems, air conditioning, awnings, water heaters, furnaces, Dexter axles, etc.  He was excited to go to work everyday because he felt like he belonged to a close-knit family like his own, great teamwork and support. He will be missed there.

Tyler was proud to have a big brother and sister and was excited to learn he was going to be one. He loved everyone with passion and grace in his family. His parents, grandparents, siblings, niece, nephews’ aunts, uncles and friends.  He was thrilled to get his nephews into fishing, wrestling and video games (Fortnite, Pakeman), loved to harass and joke with his niece, was happy to have his brother over for UFC nights and go to Marvel movies while talking about comics.  He looked forward to seeing his big sister who he chuckled with every time they got together. Completely adored his little sister who he did everything from feeding her, taking her to the park, then McDonald rides, FNAF movie openings, bowling, and sledding.  He would spent hours with his grandmother playing old maid and Sorry the board game. He taught his grandfather the Oculus and they would slay zombies online together as well as played Call of Duty with gramps for at least 5 years straight. This is Tyler J Underwood, and we forever hold his memory high and let his light shine through giving back to others and laughter. Rest easy my angel.

Friends may call Friday (Feb 6th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Family Memories will be shared starting at 7:00 PM.

I am very sorry for your loss of 3 beautiful souls! I don’t know you or the family but realized your backyard neighbors with My family(Rhonda) and you know my hairdressers mom Kathy Lopez it is a small world foresure. I have followed you ever since this horrible tragedy and can’t imagine what you’re going through. I was at Petsmart celebrating my one dogs birthday by buying him a toy and treat when this was happening. So many cop cars blocking off all areas when this was happening not knowing of this tragedy was happening. I have a half brother Tyler and my son Taylor is 28 years old too! This really hits me hard. I just want to hug you and what you wrote was so beautiful and brought tears to my eyes . Sending healing love and prayers to you and your family! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻R.I.P Tyler🪽
