Zachary Michael Waver

Zachary Michael Waver, age 33, of Rochester, New York, passed away on December 20, 2025.

Zachary was born on February 13, 1992. He was predeceased by his father, Stephen Waver. He is survived by his fiancée, Christine Igler; his cherished children, daughter Chelsea Grandin and sons Luca and Roman Waver; his loving mother, Patricia Moulthrop; his stepfather, Jeffrey Leibenguth; his grandmother, Maureen Shea; his sister, Emily Moulthrop and her wife Nayelli Romero; his brother, Marc LoBrutto and his wife Emily LoBrutto; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who were all part of his extended family.

Zachary was fiercely loyal and deeply honest, qualities that defined every relationship in his life. He was an outstanding cook who loved bringing people together through food, and he took immense pride in being a phenomenal father, son, and partner. He was his little sister Emily’s rock—her constant source of strength, guidance, and unwavering support. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he rarely missed a game and never missed an opportunity to share his passion. Above all else, Zachary was known for his warmth—especially his unforgettable hugs, which made everyone feel seen, safe, and loved.

Zachary’s presence filled every room he entered, and his loss leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his strength, his heart, and the love he gave so freely.

Friends may call Monday (December 29th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Family Prayers will follow calling at 7:00 PM.
