Rochester, New York: peacefully passed October 17, 2025 at age 97.
Born October 24, 1927, to Walter George Lee and Mary Loretta Risley. Alice lived a full and vibrant life. She was known for her kindness, grace, and unwavering strength — a woman who served as the heart and pillar of her family, and whose wisdom and warmth touched everyone she met.
In 1949, Alice married the love of her life, Paul Anthony Schreiner. Together, they raised five beautiful children, building a legacy rooted in love, faith and unity.
Alice is survived by her children, Andrew and wife Patty Schreiner of Norwich, CT, Christine Hoyt (widow of Hank Hoyt) of Rochester, NY, Ellen and husband Roger Haskins of Lakeland, FL, Mary and husband Larry Sasso of Spencerport, NY, and Steven and wife Carol Schreiner of Canandaigua, NY.
She is lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and their spouses and 30 great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul, and now rejoins him in eternal peace.
She attended St. Mary’s School of Business and later worked at the Duffy Mott Company. A woman of deep faith, she had devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Alice was a devoted member of the Holy Rosary Society in Fredonia NY and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: singing in the church choir, creating ceramics, working on puzzles, and cheering for her favorite football team, the Buffalo Bills and all her precious kitties. Above all her greatest joy was her family — the center of her world. Her creative spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. She departed this life surrounded by the memories of a life filled with love, faith, and family.
Rest in peace, Alice, Mom, GG. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and your memory will live on in the lives of those you loved and inspired.

To Andy, Christine, Ellen, Mary and Steven; Jim and I send our deepest condolences to you all and your families. I have may fond memories of Your Mom, my Godmother. She and your Dad, and your Grandmother (my Aunt Alice) were a big part of my life growing up.
You were truly blessed to have had her as part of your lives and your children and grandchildren’s lives for so many years.
Unfortunately I will be out of town and will not be able to attend the calling hours or the Mass. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
