Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute
It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Christopher Hopkins, who left this world surrounded by love and comfort on October 14th, 2025.
Christopher was born on May 5, 1959, in Rochester, NY, the son of Norma Rissew and the late Richard Hopkins. He was the beloved brother of David Hopkins (Billy Kautz) and Scott Hopkins (Darlene Hopkins), and former husband of Tracie Hopkins. Christopher was a devoted father to his daughters, Stephanie Bellucco (Nicholas Bellucco) and Michelle Scott (Dylan Scott), and a proud grandfather to his cherished granddaughters: Brooke, Charlotte, Allison, and Camille.
Christopher was a man whose presence filled every room with laughter, warmth, and joy. Known for his kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor, he had a special way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Caring for others came naturally to him—whether through lending a helping hand, offering a kind word, or sharing his gift of cooking with family and friends. He brought joy to everyone he met and left a lasting impact through his selfless spirit and unwavering love.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the love he shared and the countless lives he touched.
A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Wednesday (October 22nd) from 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road.
It’s hard to put into words the pain of losing someone as special as Christopher. He was one of the greatest souls I’ve ever known — a man whose kindness, warmth, and strength touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. To me, he was more than a friend; he was a true blessing in my life. His wisdom, generosity, and gentle heart made every day brighter and every moment meaningful. Christopher carried a light within him that could make anyone feel seen and loved.
He will forever live on in my heart and in the hearts of all who loved him. The memories, the laughter, and the lessons he shared will never fade. Rest peacefully, Pa. You will always be remembered, always be loved, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️
Prayers to you all, god bless
I had the pleasure of meeting Christopher
When he came to Florida to help his mother. My son Chuck and I added a new friend to our list. He made you feeling we were long lost friends and we enjoyed having him for dinner a time or two.
Rest in peace Chris
Chris was our neighbor and best friend for over 44 years. He was like family and we’ll miss him so much. He was always there when you needed him. He was like superman he could do anything you asked for. He was a great father for Stephine and Michelle. He would always put a smile on your face. He adored his granddaughters more than anything on this world. Forever in our hearts 💕. We are glad he is at peace because he was suffering for awhile. He will never be forgotten Love Rick and Linda Barber
