Linda Farrelly Standing

Rochester: Linda passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025 at the age of 80. She is predeceased by
her husband, Tom Standing; companion, Abe Terpening; parents, Raymond & Anne
Farrelly. She is survived by her brother, Bruce (Maureen); children, Karen (Tedd) and
Jim (Erika); grandchildren Titus, Marley and Nolan; devoted care givers Maryann,
Dannylee and the caring staff of The Maplewood.
Linda was born in Washington DC to Raymond and Anne Farrelly. She earned an
associate’s degree from Montgomery Junior College and later a bachelor’s degree in art
from SUNY Brockport. She was an artist who enjoyed oil painting, stained glass and
was employed as a floral designer. Some of her many interests included world travel,
theater, concerts and fine dining. She was a lover of nature but mainly animals, over
the years she was surrounded by many loving pets and was the caregiver to more than
a few injured or orphaned wild animals.

Friends may call Wednesday (Oct 15th) 4-7 PM at Vay- Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday (Oct 16th) 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
