Karen was a good friend and cared about the welfare of others. Her family meant everything to her and she valued her friends. She was a kind and caring person.
Mrs. C, as we called her growing up, was like a second mom to us in the neighborhood. So kind, always cheerful and willing to help others whenever she could. She always brought light and positivity into every situation and will be greatly missed!
What a great Mom and kind hearted person. I am grateful to have known her. Sending love and condolences to her family!
Karen was a wonderful wife and mother. I particularly admire her for her steadfast support of her husband, Ed, as he progressed through the ravages of Parkinsons. They are together again.
I have such wonderful memories of Karen. We grew on Monroe Place in Sharon, PA. We then moved to Hermitage, PA and graduated from Hickory High School in 1962. We played tennis, badminton, and ping pong in her basement in the winter. We enjoyed Buhl Park and the many great family picnics. Karen was more than a cousin, she was as close to me as a sister.
Al Yudt, her cousin.
Karen and Ted were a pair. Born together, lived together, and raised their children together. They set the standard on how a good life should be lived. Now they are together again.
It is with great sadness that we learned about Karen passing. We met Karen and Ted in Marco and enjoyed our dinners together and our evenings with playing cards. She will be definitely missed by all that knew and loved her. May she rest in peace. Penny and David
